My Why
My mom was my best friend and the world’s best Feis Mom. We traveled all over the US and Ireland for competitions, we talked about steps for hours when I’d come home from dance class, and she stayed calm and collected on Oireachtas mornings.
If she couldn’t make it to a feis, she’d send me funny motivational texts. If she could make it, she’d tape inspirational quotes all over our hotel room…the list goes on and on!
Irish dance is my heart and soul. My mom was instrumental in fortifying that passion, both in my competitive career and now as a TCRG, with her unwavering support and encouragement every step of the way.
My mom, Catherine (Caitríona in Irish), passed away in 2021. I’ve named my Irish dance school after her to honor all of the fun memories, her endless support, and our shared love for Irish dance. With that, I present, Caitríona Irish Dance!

Love you, mom!
